UGA Extension Courtyard (Back of building) Note that there is a Master Gardener event at the Fairgrounds on the same day so be sure to come to the Extension Office (first building on right), not the Fairgrounds buildings.

CBA will be hosting its first-ever Swap Meet! Buyers and Sellers are welcome. Bring your excess, never used/no-longer-used tools and equipment or just come in search of a deal on the beekeeping items you need! We have a few tables available but bring one if you need it. Tailgate is also OK if you prefer.

Club Social Night

Join us for our monthly Social Night. Relax in an informal setting for dinner, drinks and conversation! Dinner is member-paid.

Annual Member's Picnic

Our annual Members Picnic is coming up in May – once again at Carl Miller Park on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 from 12:30pm – 3:30pm. There are lots of activities for the children at this park including a Kids Castle Playground and a Splash Pad! The Pavilion seats 150 people so we should be good on seating but if you'd like to bring some chairs, we'll leave that up to you. 

Picnic is open to Active CBA members only.

This month our speaker, Cory Stevens of Stevens Bee Company, will discuss “Varroa Sensitive Hygiene/VSH Queens”. Be sure to arrive early for mentoring and a deeper look into tools and tricks of seasoned beekeepers. Mentoring sessions begins at 6:30 p.m. This month our mentor will be Bobby Torbush discussing Installing and Marking Queens.
