Bee Cutouts From Structures

Georgia law requires that a beekeeper that removes a swarm from a structure of any kind be licensed by the State of Georgia for that purpose. Any beekeeper can remove a swarm from trees, etc. (see Swarm Removal). Please take a look at the following picture to make sure that the bees are actually honeybees before contacting a beekeeper as they will not remove wasps, hornets, bumblebees, carpenter bees, etc. Click on the link below for a list of beekeepers that remove honeybees from structures -- provided by Georgia Beekeepers Association.
